Lesson 2. Making Decisions and Following Through

Every morning, we all begin a new day by making decisions: the decision to get up, wash, pray, eat, attend to our responsibilities, and much more. Sometimes all this happens automatically, but a decision comes first.

When more difficult tasks arise and we have to make a choice, we also ultimately make a decision and declare it.

The more difficult the proposal, the more time it takes to think everything through, calculate everything, and make a decision.

A pattern has been observed: if a person makes a decision immediately or within the first day, that person will also begin carrying out the task quickly. If the decision is made within three days, there is a likelihood that the assignment will be completed. But if more time passes while an answer is awaited, it means that the answer is no.

God waits for me to choose and decide so that, on this basis, He may act within my plans. Very often He presents me with new tasks and waits for my decision. He invites me to go higher and farther, making the trials more difficult each time. He is not in a hurry, but He moves as quickly as I am able to move.

In our School, my goal is not to overwhelm you with information or to run with those who are fast. I want to teach you simple lessons: to be attentive to the small things of which our life consists, to notice what I am doing incorrectly, to recognize what is important, and to make it the main thing.

I give lessons and assignments that will progress from simple to difficult and then to very difficult, and I expect all students to make prompt decisions about completing the assignments and to show attentiveness and diligence in doing so.

Let us decide and make it a rule that time should be set aside to complete the assignments within one day after reading the lesson. Of course, exceptions are permitted for personal reasons and family circumstances, but it is still not wise to delay.

I believe that you have made the decision to join this School—some out of curiosity and others upon someone’s recommendation, perhaps without even understanding what will take place here. The method of presenting the material and the rules of the School differ from what you have previously been accustomed to. Therefore, I give each of you the freedom to determine and decide in what capacity you wish to be here.

Decide for yourselves whom you want to become: a student, a listener, or an observer.

Why do I distinguish among the participants in this way? Because all the decisions you make here have special significance for the spiritual world and give God authority to influence your heart in a special way, to teach you, and to work in you whatever He considers necessary. I ask Him for a special blessing upon all the participants and especially upon the students. And He answers.

Without Christ’s participation and the convincing power of the Holy Spirit, none of our lessons will be understood or bring benefit. But in close cooperation with the three great Divine Powers, we will be able to learn very much. Making decisions and following through with them is extremely important, and it depends upon the individual alone.

The seriousness with which we approach our studies will determine the seriousness with which God works.

The science of loving forms my character and prepares me for Eternal life among holy beings. No task given to a human being is more important than forming one’s character in the image and likeness of God.

Making a decision is very important, but following through with what one has decided is even more important.

Once I needed helpers to carry out a missionary project. One person assured me twice that he had decided to help me, but he did nothing in that direction. It is better to promise nothing than to promise and fail to fulfill it. Therefore, I believe that following through with and carrying out one’s decisions must be present in life.

I have decided to share with you the knowledge and revelations that I have received from the Lord.

On March 23, 2020, by God’s inspiration, I decided to open this School. I did not know what it would look like and had only some of these lessons in my mind, but I believed that the Lord would reveal to me everything necessary at the proper time in order to bless you as well through this work.

And so, friends, welcome to the School of Agape Love.
