A Labor Agreement with God

When I had made the final decision to open a firm, then before registering it with official authorities, I wished to conclude a labor agreement with God. Taking an earthly template as a basis, I reworked it for my need. Below I present the text from this contract:

Labor Agreement

Labor agreement between the Creator of heaven and earth, the Ruler of this world and the entire Universe, called the King of kings and Lord of lords, and his servant, humble slave "[My name]."

On such-and-such date in such-and-such city is founded a construction enterprise under such-and-such name, hereafter referred to as the firm, whose full and absolute Owner is Lord Jesus, hereafter He is referred to as the Owner. By His mercy, "[my name]" is appointed as earthly manager of this firm, hereafter he is referred to as the manager, for signing and concluding earthly contracts and deals.

The firm's manager receives the right in the presence of worldly and uninitiated people to call this enterprise "his firm." He is also endowed with authority to bear full legal responsibility for the organization and labor activity of the enterprise according to the laws of the country.

For managing the enterprise, the manager and all his employees will be endowed with heavenly wisdom proceeding from the Owner, according to prayer from James 1:5-6.

For successful completion of work, the manager and enterprise employees will be endowed with spiritual and physical strength according to the promise from Psalm 29:11; 68:35; Isaiah 40:29.

The manager is the direct representative of Christ to all people and the bearer and spreader of the Light of life proceeding from God's throne of mercy and love.

The contract comes into force after its composition, signing, and prayer of faith. The term of the contract is unlimited. When deciding to close the firm for personal motives, economic or political situation, the contract regarding this enterprise remains in force until the final action necessary for liquidating the firm.

All profit of the enterprise belongs to the Owner. Full responsibility for managing material means belonging to the given enterprise is placed on the manager. In the presence of uninitiated people, to avoid misunderstanding, the manager may call these means "his own."

The manager is endowed with heavenly wisdom from above for proper management of enterprise finances.

Conditional capital is contributed by the manager and is property of the enterprise for development and payment of necessary bills and services.

All enterprise income must be accounted for, declared, and open to any official person requiring a report.

All taxes from enterprise profit and turnover must be honestly and openly paid according to legislation.

All bills, debts, and wage payments must be honestly and timely paid according to requirements and agreements.

The tenth part of the manager's salary belongs to the Owner and is timely transferred to needs provided by His Word.

Enterprise profit at the manager's discretion may be spent on necessary enterprise development, supporting missionary projects, and other needs not contradicting God's will.

Salary for the manager is established by the manager himself depending on needs and requirements of his life support. Salary for enterprise employees is established according to labor agreement.

In case of illness, death, or accident of the manager, the Owner reserves the right to his healing, treatment, or death. He holds the manager's life in His hand, and no one will steal it.

The manager bears responsibility for preserving enterprise property and monetary means. He ensures security from their accidental or purposeful plundering. If those encroaching on this property threaten the health or life of the manager, then on the Owner's advice he may give what will be demanded of him under full responsibility of the robbers, transferring all judgment over these people to the Owner. The life of the manager, his employees, and his family is a priceless gift of God and stands above all riches of this world.

The Owner undertakes to guard the manager on all his paths from evil (Psalm 91) and if necessary to send all His Heavenly host for support and protection.

In case of client refusal to pay for completed services and work, the manager may appeal to appropriate government services, while giving all final judgment to God (James 5:4), not trying to take money by threats and force, but lovingly warning the non-payer about coming problems from the Owner.

The manager is organizer and executor of all types of work from enterprise clients. When performing assigned tasks and communicating with people, honesty, tactfulness, activity, friendliness, kindness, love, and cheerfulness are expected from the manager.

The manager is expected to plan work so that it is not detrimental to health, as well as care for his rest and special time for communication with the Owner.

The manager may take vacation at any time at his discretion for strengthening spiritual and physical forces.

The manager reserves the right to report on enterprise income and expenses. He must ensure that by his conversations he does not reveal secrets of firm management that may affect the success and prosperity of the enterprise, and also not reveal secrets of trusted persons to a third party.

The enterprise Owner reserves full right to punishment, reproof, education, depriving peace in the heart, and dismissing the manager in case of violating any points of this agreement.

The Owner has the right to close and liquidate the enterprise and disperse all means in case of future threat to the soul and eternal life of the manager according to His promise from Jeremiah 29:11.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 The Owner in His Word promises to be with the manager everywhere he goes and to bless all who bless him. With the manager's obedience, to grant him joy, peace, and success in everything, and also to endow him with His Holy Spirit and special influence of friendliness and love, visible and felt by all people.

The Owner takes responsibility for forming a new heart and right thoughts in the manager's life, for endowing him with power from Above and wisdom.

Also from the Owner is expected the search for clients needing the firm's services who are capable of paying for completed services.

If there is need for new employees, helpers, and workers, then the Owner in due time will take care of this and send those people who will contribute to the development and growth of the firm and formation of the manager's good character. If there is need to dismiss unfit people, then grant understanding for resolving this question without damage to human dignity.

There is also a request to the Owner for special influence on those who will refuse to pay for completed orders, so they realize that they are robbing God, not man, and repent of this and find peace. Request to help not be their judge, but friend.

Request to teach how to be a faithful manager and not attach the heart to earthly and temporary things.

To answer all needs not described in this agreement according to love and mercy.

A copy of this agreement is kept in Heavenly dwellings as testimony to all who wish.

End of agreement.

Postscript: After many years of independent work, I have convinced myself that everything included in the Owner's responsibilities was observed by Him in all points of the signed agreement. He remains faithful to everything we agreed upon.
