Man in the Family
A man is the complete opposite of a woman and is arranged completely differently, which can be difficult to imagine. He will never become a woman and will never see things the way she sees them. His thinking will always differ from the feminine, and by appearance it won't be difficult to distinguish him among representatives of the weaker sex.
An adult man in his magnificence represents a perfect model that will be impossible to change to one's taste, adjust to oneself, or improve. Such stability is placed in man by the Creator Himself, which often prevents changing opinion if it has already formed. It may seem that such constancy in views is stubbornness, but it is exactly this that helps bring started work to completion, see the goal and go toward it, not losing common sense in critical situations.
We are not considering here people with damaged minds or those inclined toward abusive behavior, so if you are surrounded by other people, don't rush to conclusions that all men are like them.
God created man for the family. And when the first person understood this and began to seek someone like himself, he received a woman as a gift.
The union of man with woman becomes a springboard to more perfect development of both spouses, to studying previously unknown character traits and to many advantages that family gives. It is precisely in the family that the most precious talents, negative character traits, and peculiarities of different views on life are revealed. But, strange as it may seem, it is precisely the opposition of opinion and thinking that attracts two completely different individuals to each other most of all.
A man thinks rationally, while a woman thinks emotionally. For example, a bouquet of flowers in a man's understanding is a completely useless thing. It's not edible, wilts quickly, costs a lot, brings joy for a short time, is not subject to long-term and repeated use, but causes many positive emotions in most women, which are pleasant to observe and receive.
There is a concept that men love with their eyes, while women love with their ears. And this should be taken into account even in the family. Beauty is given to a woman in order to attract a worthy man to herself, and then gladden her husband's heart for all subsequent life. And to the husband, even when he has gotten used to the presence of a woman in his home, it is not at all indifferent how she looks, and it's difficult for him to get used to the fact that for the sake of others his spouse transforms into the most beautiful image, while at home she may allow herself to wear old and torn clothes, not comb her hair, and be as she is.
A wife wants to hear words of love, admiration, and care from her beloved. She must understand that he is a leader who will protect her, and behind whose back she will feel good. And when a woman feels good, then she may think that the man will also feel good from similar experiences, but the husband has other expectations.
Every man greatly needs admiration, praise, and respect from his wife. For him these sincere manifestations are spiritual bread that he will always gladly consume and receive.
When a husband comes home hungry, then an experienced spouse understands that he needs to be fed, and only then tell about all the events and problems that happened during the day. As for tasty food, everything is clear there, but it's worth remembering that your husband is hungry for your praise and admiration of him. He may never say this about it, but he always desires it. And since he is hungry, he needs to be fed exactly this, watching which particular compliment is more to his heart and raises his self-esteem. Don't be afraid to do this. You won't overfeed him. If the husband doesn't receive this from his wife, then he will seek a feeder in another place.
When a man sees that he is not respected, then all other efforts of his wife become secondary and not so important to him. Understanding that he is nobody, he cannot make his wife a queen. If he is a doormat for wiping feet for you, then your status will be the same. You will be the wife of this doormat and nothing more.
The Bible speaks about a king and about what rights he possesses and what power he has. If this same principle and respect is applied to a man, then he will quickly appreciate such treatment and decide to make his wife a queen, whom he will care for and love.
Not many men are generous with compliments to their wives, especially in expressing their feelings or pronouncing words of love. But if this is important for the wife, then she needs to somehow convey to her husband that she needs this, and make sure that he understood her.
Not all men can simultaneously do many things, so they shouldn't be loaded with something else if they are busy with some work.
When you want to tell your husband something, then first make sure that he hears you and understands what you are talking about. At this moment he may be thinking about other global questions and be absolutely deaf to all your speeches not because you are uninteresting to him, but because he didn't manage to switch to his wife until he finished thinking about all his ideas. As a result, he won't fulfill any of your requests because he simply didn't hear them. Don't be offended by this. You should catch the moment when he is listening specifically to you, and then speak about what he needs to know.
Men don't know how to guess about your plans and expectations. If you need their attention, kind words, or care, then they need to be told about this directly. Your hints or desires are not always clear to men. If you dream about changes in your family and believe that your husband should guess everything himself, then you will have to dream for a long time yet. Specificity of what you need will help quickly get what's necessary.
God's love works miracles of amazing changes over any man. What is sometimes beyond a woman's power can only be done by the Lord. Therefore, ask God to talk with your husband and convey to him what is very important for you. God knows how to answer such prayers.
If you like to teach your husband, give him valuable advice and instructions, scold him and say what a good-for-nothing he is, then remember that all this only destroys relationships and distances the man from you. He knows better than you how to live and what to do, but for the sake of peace in the family he has to endure such things and seek his place and respect for himself outside the home.
No husband likes when someone raises their voice at him or shouts. Therefore, if you are bursting with such desires, do this away from your husband to your phone. He will endure everything and forgive, but the man's mind can receive irreparable damage.
Sometimes husbands experience a reboot of the mind, and during this time they may not think about anything, not talk about anything, and even not understand what is happening to them. This property of the soul can be seen in all its beauty while fishing. You shouldn't be afraid of this, but should understand that such a state is a norm of life. If there's no fishing rod, then the husband will find another way to disconnect from the world.
God created us different, and therefore it's worth studying these differences and in love for each other make new discoveries for ourselves in this sphere, not being embarrassed to share them with each other.
