Admire Your Husband
Admiration is a feeling of deep respect, joy, gratitude, delight, love for the object of one's veneration, which can be expressed in encouraging words of praise or in other manifestations of special treatment. If praise is capable of finding and identifying certain character traits and talents in your husband, which fulfills his emotional needs, then admiring him is a special celebration for his heart. This is a kind of cherry on the cake that gives the entire complex structure a finished look and is the most desired treat, sufficient for one chosen person.
Not many men experience such an attitude from their wives and sometimes don't even suspect that this exists and is possible, so they don't even expect it, although they wouldn't be against experiencing such treatment.
Admiring your husband is recognizing him as the most significant person in your family for his unique qualities of soul, for his talents and successes, for the fact that you have him. This is a high evaluation of his intellect, his moral values, his giftedness and simply his personality as a whole.
Such an attitude very strongly binds two close people to each other, gives a sense of confidence in love, awareness that you have support and can count on it even in difficult times. Admiration creates a friendly atmosphere in the family and inspires something better and beautiful.
By nature, each of us is unique in our own way and possesses many hidden and undeveloped talents, which may manifest themselves in one way or another. An attentive eye is capable of quickly identifying these human characteristics and emphasizing them through approval and admiration in the form of positive ovations and loud exclamations.
Examples of such an attitude we can find in the description of living creatures from the book of Revelation. These creatures are at God's throne and constantly exclaim day and night: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come" (Rev. 4:8). Undoubtedly, the Lord God evokes admiration from all His creation, and the mouths of all begin to praise the Majesty of Heaven. We find confirmation of this throughout the entire Bible. Such practice is also present in human relationships, but much less frequently and in special cases. Unfortunately, when a mortal person begins to be publicly exalted and placed on a pedestal of honor or worshipped, this does not always have a positive influence. But within the framework of the family, admiration looks quite decent and is a special expression of delight, which greatly pleases both spouses and brings them closer.
Men value praise and rejoice when their wives admire them, teaching this to their children as well. Every family father is pleased to be special in the eyes of his household, who sincerely express their enthusiastic feelings aloud and exalt the head of their home above themselves. And how will the joyful father and husband respond to such an attitude? Only with mutual love and the desire to somehow specially serve his dear and close people.
Admiration is always a celebration for the soul, and you sometimes don't even know when it will come and whether it will come at all. This comes from a loving heart that learns to see good and knows how to properly notice even insignificant details, pointing them out appropriately.
Admiring your husband also helps to see him as your partner, ally and friend, with whom you can share the joys and difficulties of life, build common plans and dreams, grow together as a couple and develop as one whole.
Admiration can convey the thought that you are better than me, stronger, wiser, more gifted and more successful, which doesn't embarrass me at all, but on the contrary - pleases me. And I hasten to share this with you. Admiration requires certain expenditures of my life energy, but I don't regret sharing it, because such an attitude carries a positive charge that inspires both of us to something very kind and good.
To admire your husband is the ability to see his strong sides even in moments of weakness or failure and to acknowledge his efforts and endeavors in achieving common goals in relationships and in life.
This need is embedded in every man, and any woman who knows this property of the male soul and skillfully possesses this gift can very quickly emotionally attach any representative of the opposite sex to herself, capturing his heart. And the man's task includes understanding the true motives of such female behavior and establishing appropriate boundaries in relationships if this crosses permissible limits and leads to violation of God's law.
Knowledge of men's needs and skillful use of them can become a blessing in family relationships or bring curses if applied for lustful purposes.
Any man will be pleased to hear about admiration for his masculine qualities and strength. Even putting on an indifferent appearance, he will gladly catch every kind word addressed to him and modestly rejoice in his soul that he was so noted. Therefore, don't be afraid to admire your husband. If he is normal, then he will understand and appreciate everything correctly, even if he doesn't show it.
But don't think that all your admiration will be accepted. If it is sincere and from the whole soul, then this will be understandable and pleasant to every husband. But if the admiration turns out to be feigned or foolish, then the reaction will be corresponding.
Jesus only once accepted universal admiration from the people, when he entered Jerusalem as the predicted King, sitting on a young donkey. People, not understanding it themselves, admired him under the influence of the Holy Spirit and laid their clothes and palm branches under the feet of the Great Teacher. And the Lord accepted these people, knowing that after some time many of them would shout completely different words of curse.
We should not lose our heads and vigilance either when someone today decides to honor us with their delight and admiration. We should not reject these people either if they thus sincerely express their best feelings and emotions. Perhaps this is how they manifest their love for you or God's desire to support you in some matter and inspire you to something greater.
If you don't have such a gift and you can't imagine how you can verbally admire your husband or friend, then try to develop this in yourself and apply it as intended. A celebration for the soul of the person you have chosen will be appropriate in any family and in any society.
Men who are not accustomed to hearing such things addressed to them are initially confused and embarrassed, and then quickly get used to it and expect the next portion, trying to do everything possible to receive it. But there are rare exceptions to which one should not pay attention.
Love knows how to express itself both in calm words of praise and in loud exclamations of delight and admiration, bringing with these words itself into the heart of the listener and establishing itself in the soul of the speaker.
Women are also not exceptional people, unworthy of their husbands' admiration. They also need such an attitude and gladly accept from their beloved ones what their soul thirsts for. An example of exchanging words of admiration can be found in abundance in the book Song of Songs and learn this art, bringing each other joy and happiness.
And may everything be with you with sincerity, love and wisdom.
