What Your Wife Doesn't Like?

Do men ever think about what their wives don't like? Somewhere subconsciously we know this, but sometimes masculine pride prevents us from delving into the world of a woman's feelings and emotions and figuring out how she sees me and how she evaluates my behavior.

If a woman doesn't like only two things about a man: everything he does and everything he says, then it's not worth delving deeper into details and trying to understand her. But when communicating with a sensible person, you can hear many useful statements for reflection.

The best way to find out the answer to the question of this lesson is to ask your wife about it, but if she fears your disapproval and conflict because of her sincerity, then she is unlikely to agree to tell the whole truth. Therefore, it's better to ask other people's wives about this and carefully listen to what they tell you. And they have much to share. But don't use the knowledge gained to harm other families, saying something like "what a willful wife you have, friend."

Below I will provide a brief list of what I learned from my sisters.

A married woman doesn't like this:

  1. Indifference and non-participation in her life. She wants to be the center of her spouse's attention. To see his interest in her as a creative personality, as a life companion. She needs someone to whom she should tell everything that has accumulated in her heart during his absence.

  2. Being a man and performing masculine duties, taking upon herself the role of husband and performing heavy physical labor with a healthy and capable husband who has no mood to do what is expected of him.

  3. When her husband plays on his phone or computer, forgetting about the surrounding world and household chores, and then boasts about his successes in the virtual world.

  4. Suppression of her will by his authority even in good deeds and unwillingness to take her views on things into account, when the husband considers only himself right and only his opinion correct.

  5. Talking in loud tones, shouting, harshness, rudeness, profanity, insults. All this is like devastating hail that kills a tender plant and sows fear, offense and despair in the heart from awareness of one's helplessness.

  6. Comparing his wife to other women for the purpose of humiliating her feminine or physical qualities. And at the same time, consciously ignoring her merits and uniqueness.

  7. Absence of gratitude for the visible work she does for the benefit of the family, and taking everything as duties she must fulfill because it's her responsibility.

  8. Absence of compliments and tender words, especially when she asks for this and expects to receive what she desires.

  9. Absence of tenderness and love in relationships, especially when the wife shows with her whole being or says that she needs this now.

  10. Absence of surprises, insignificant signs of attention, romance in small things. Life by schedule eventually becomes tiresome, but there's no initiative to somehow decorate domestic weekdays. At the same time, there's active participation in someone's life on the side.

  11. When the husband talks only about himself and his problems, and considers everything else empty and uninteresting.

  12. When he brings external problems into the home that he couldn't solve, and pours all his negativity on his wife, even if he later comes to his senses and apologizes.

  13. When he expects from his wife only positive emotions, positivity and everything pleasant, but doesn't want to listen to her experiences and avoids conversations on such topics in every way, not letting his wife into his inner world either.

  14. When the husband puts the woman on his level, both physically and mentally, not wanting to understand and study the psychology of women, and demands from her what she shouldn't do, and to be what she cannot be.

  15. Doesn't take responsibility for solving family issues, expects that everything will resolve itself or through miraculous help from outside.

  16. Doesn't give her time and attention for simple human communication, for closer acquaintance with his other half.

  17. Striving only for physical intimacy, and after satisfying these needs, indifferent attitude to all other things.

  18. Greed, inability to be generous, indifferent attitude to the needs of other people, and especially to his own household.

  19. Unwillingness to work with his hands and his mind, but to live at others' expense or be dependent on the state or his relatives, while having sufficient strength and health for successful work.

  20. Disrespectful attitude of the husband toward the female sex, when he speaks badly or humiliatingly about women and ridicules what he doesn't understand.

  21. When he gives hope and makes promises but doesn't fulfill them.

  22. Unreliability. When the wife cannot rely on the man, but must solve all issues herself.

  23. Unwillingness to grow, learn, achieve more.

  24. Untidiness in clothing and appearance, carelessness, non-observance of hygiene.

  25. Uncut umbilical cord from his mother, when his mother is allowed to dictate her rules in the house and dominate in the kitchen.

  26. When the man grumbles, complains, complains about the whole world, says that everything is bad. Such behavior doesn't give a sense of stability.

  27. When the spouse gets offended without trying to solve problems, and demonstratively expresses his dislike, considering himself always right.

  28. Inability and unwillingness to love and understand one's neighbor and absence of efforts to develop in this direction.

  29. Hypocrisy. When he is at home as he is, and in public plays the role of an attentive and kind person. When spiritual values don't interest him, but in public he is especially pious.

  30. Unfaithful to his wife, both in physical intimacy and in his thoughts, allowing himself to flirt with other women.

  31. When he makes the home a dormitory or shelter for everyone, not considering his wife's opinion.

  32. Abusive relationships or psychopathic outbursts in relation to his wife or household.

  33. Nitpicking over trifles and especially regarding the performance of women's household duties.

  34. Intimidating with divorce in conflict situations.

  35. When he doesn't care for the material support of his non-working wife, reproaching her that she eats bread for nothing and does nothing for the family.

  36. When there's a division of the house, money and all property into yours and mine.

  37. When the wife takes second or third place before relatives, friends or work colleagues.

  38. When he makes claims to his wife about her excess weight or non-youthful appearance.

  39. When the husband deceives.

  40. When the spouse has sinful addiction or lives in vice.

A fair question arises: "How to live with such a man?" But, surprisingly, our dear sisters have this in their families, pray for changes for the better and believe that someday this time will come, and everything will be different.

Love helps to understand women's needs and expectations and to undertake something so that your wife is happy and receives from family life what this family was created for.

It's not characteristic for men to change, but God's grace is capable of changing much in their hearts and making them suitable both for their wives and for life among holy beings.

Reading this lesson, every husband and wife should remember that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God, even if they achieved something in this world.
