A Father's Letter to His Beloved Daughter
How many of you have received love letters from your fathers or mothers? And how many of you, having your own teenage children, write them love letters? I would very much like this lesson to change something in your life and in the lives of your children. Even if you don't have children, this is no excuse for having no one to share love with. Let that person who is very close to you become the recipient of your letters. Writing love letters is an entire science of Heavenly origin. You can copy someone else's letter and send it under your name, but then your life after that needs to correspond to the written confessions. It's best to write letters from heart to heart. Let it be ungrammatical, with missing commas and many mistakes, but from a loving heart. Believe me, a teenager very much needs your love, and this recognition will be great support and protection for him in difficult moments of life.
Let it be a couple of sincere sentences, but written by your hand and expressing your friendly attitude.
In a letter you can describe your thoughts and feelings that are not visible to the eyes. In it you can talk with someone who doesn't want to hear and see you. In it you can write what you will never say with words. It can be written quickly, or it can be composed over several days. It can change not only someone's life, but also yours, establishing you in good intentions that you describe on paper.
Woman was originally created for love, and an inner need to be loved or very loved is laid within her. Male love means very much to her, which is why girls become so strongly attached to their loving fathers, and then to loving husbands, that they consider these people the most important people in the world.
If a daughter is accustomed to receiving fatherly love and can always count on it, then an additional letter from father on this topic will only add happiness to her and adorn her everyday life for a long time. A love letter is good because it knows how to speak to reason and heart and transmit the author's spirit over many years. It necessarily contains that depth which will be revealed not from the first reading. And if you consider the spiritual belonging of the letter's author to God, then you can be confident that his words of love will be written under the influence of the Holy Spirit, Who afterward, over many years, will continue to exert His influence on the reader. The best example of this is the Bible. These are also someone's letters that still exert powerful influence on every reader.
In a letter to a daughter, it's important to consider her age, her emotional state, and your relationship. A father's letter to his beloved teenage daughter might look something like this:
"My dear girl, how I always rejoice that I have you, that you are given to me by God for life, as my daughter, as a part of me in this world, as joy for every day. Just recently I held you, my little treasure weighing 3.5 kilograms, and didn't imagine who would grow from her, and today you are already a young woman, though not yet completely adult, but already a little woman. Don't hurry to grow up, this will come in its own time.
In this letter I want to clearly repeat to you what you already know from our relationship, that I love you, my girl. And this love for you doesn't depend on how you look, how you study, or how you behave. It's more based on the fact that you exist, that you are my little daughter and that you are God's gift for life.
We won't always live together, mom and I are raising you so that someday you will leave our house forever and begin to live an independent life, independently of us, and then create your own family and belong to someone who, like me, decides to love you all his life, without any conditions. And this moment will come soon.
Always remember who you are in God's eyes and how highly you are valued by Heaven. And your value is determined not by your beauty, mind, or talents, but by your uniqueness in God's plan, your irreplaceability, and by that price of blood that was shed for your salvation.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes, because mistakes teach and are part of our upbringing. I make mistakes too. Don't try to be right in everything, but be yourself.
Don't try to please the opinion and expectations of the world, which imposes its standards of life and behavior—this is all vanity and requires much strength and means. Your soul is much more precious than all the money of this world, higher than all evaluations, and greater than all opinions.
Always remember that the most beautiful people are those who believe in Jesus and have personal relationships with Him within themselves, inviting Him into all their affairs.
Your smile and friendly heart make you beautiful at all times, for all people and in any company. Do you want to be beautiful? Smile and always choose love, happiness, and friendship, however hard it may be for you to make this choice. Remember that true beauty is not a goal, but a consequence of your inner peace with God and that genuine love for neighbors, which is becoming less and less in the world.
I love you, my girl, and am your faithful friend at all times, and you don't need to deserve this or do something special to win such an attitude. Just be yourself and remember that you are a beloved daughter. And even when the whole world turns away from you, accuses you of everything bad to trample your personality and bend you to itself, then know that I will always have my best opinion of you, and I will always have many useful and kind words addressed to you, which you can receive at any time. Let this reminder be support for you during life's storms.
And when I am no more, then remember that next to you there is always that true and faithful Heavenly Friend Jesus, Who not only exists, but always walks alongside through life, hears all your prayers, and helps in every matter. With Him you will never be alone, and He will never leave you. But in this unity there is one condition—you must make a covenant with God, dedicate yourself to Him for service, and make Him the Lord of your life.
God didn't make a mistake when He gave you a special character, unique appearance, and many talents that are not yet fully revealed. In His book are written all your days when they didn't yet exist, so don't be afraid to trust Him and build your future in Him.
You see how the Lord blesses our home and makes it a special place in this world. This is because mom and I dedicated our lives to Him and live for Him. And this doesn't pass by inheritance. But you have an example and freedom to choose the same blessing or select another path.
Remember that we love you both in words and in our deeds and in our prayers for you and your protection. When our help is needed, we are always nearby.
Also remember that you won't always conquer everything. Sometimes more strength is needed to rise after a fall and go further, and the winner is not the one who came first, but the one who didn't leave the race, even when it was very hard.
You are not only our daughter, but also the daughter of the Heavenly King, if, of course, He is King in your heart.
And whoever you are and whoever you become, for me you will always be that girl whom I will never forget and will always love. Know this.
With love, your dad."
