Having God in Mind

My mind represents the greatest interest for Heavenly forces. To be reasonable means to have the ability to analyze, direct one's thoughts, make balanced decisions, control the lower forces of the soul, compare facts and possibilities with one's capabilities, and do all this in the light of the Bible and revelations from above. It is important to note that the presence of God's light and life in obedience to this light is the determining factor of my salvation.

A good person, no matter how good and correct he may be, no matter how good all his deeds may be, will be lost for Eternity if God is absent from his mind.

In the message of Romans 1:28, we read: "And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done..."

God desires that I have Him in my mind in the very first place. So that, despite all my deeds and duties, heavenly values are always a priority in all my plans. It is not difficult to determine this. How do I start a new day? How much time do I spend in communion with my Savior? Can I quickly switch from everyday cares to the Heavenly wavelength? Does it draw me to greater knowledge of God?

All these characteristics do not come in one day, but my spiritual thirst can set the tone and direction for all my thoughts about the heavenly.

Once I understood that television, worldly radio, newspapers, and magazines bring emptiness and vanity into my life and pose a danger to my spiritual person. I decided to exclude this from my life, and I succeeded. There is a television in my house, but it stands and works where I do not go to watch it. I find it difficult to communicate with loved ones in the presence of a working television. It is a very strong competitor in attracting attention. It distracts thoughts from important issues. When someone else speaks and flickers in your house besides you, that someone attracts attention and destroys concentration on important things. Current TV shows and films are created by professionals in all fields of science and technology, and bright images on a moving screen mesmerize with their transitions and diversity. While in nature everything harmoniously transitions from one thing to another, on the screen all information is presented in a compressed and concentrated format.

A turned-on worldly radio affects my subconscious and fills the silence of my soul, diverting the flow of thoughts from reflections on the Heavenly. And familiar songs can sometimes stick so strongly in consciousness that they can play in my mind for hours or even days, and even when silence is all around, I hum these melodies while doing various things.

Worldly books, newspapers, and magazines activate my imagination and draw in consciousness the images that the author of the read work wants to present to me.

All these things very strongly influence my mind and fill it. And in our days, I have such services of the world in my smart phone and can access them at any time, in any place where there is internet.

What is left for God? Even if I dedicate the best time to prayer and Bible reading, and then open my mind to worldly information flows, my consciousness becomes defiled and becomes incapable of perceiving and analyzing the spiritual. If the vessel of my soul is filled with all kinds of garbage, there is simply no room left for tender and correct things.

And God desires to be in my mind, and He claims this place by the fact of our agreement to belong to each other.

I am amazed by God's respect for my freedom and choice of will. The Lord does not violate the boundaries I have established in our relationship and limits His power and influence by my decisions. There are many things that the Lord will not do without me.

Take, for example, the lessons of this book. I often hear in your answers gratitude to God and understanding that the Author of these works is God Himself. And I agree with this, however, a person writes these lessons. And if I find another occupation, no one will replace me or do what I do.

The lesson is written and published. It carries information for a person who must listen to or read it himself. God will not forcibly impose this. Your education in the Agape Love School directly depends only on your choice.

I have noticed something. If I replace holy things with ordinary ones, and time for God with other matters, questions are not resolved faster, and I do not have more free time to communicate with Jesus. If I have lost this time in this day, I have lost it forever.

Spiritual things begin to benefit me not when I find a free minute for them, but when I allocate time to their knowledge, when I completely stop to immerse myself in a world where God is present and teaches. And then throughout the rest of the day, I mentally turn to previously studied truths to analyze all my actions and incoming thoughts in their light.

God in my mind is a combination of spiritual knowledge, personal communion with the Creator, control of everything entering my mind, and accomplishing various deeds in the light of God's laws and rules.

When I solve complex problems during construction, although I am not thinking about the Bible and concentrating on other laws, it is God in my mind who helps me accomplish the tasks in the best way and find the right answers to all pressing questions. I can attribute this wisdom to myself, but it is not mine. It is a gift from above. And the closer I am in my relationship with God, the faster I navigate in solving current issues. I often noticed that when I do not know the answer and have no idea what to do, but in my thoughts I plead with Jesus for help, then amazing ideas come that offer the best solution, and I present such an answer from God as my own. And this is an inheritance from the Lord, who lives in my mind not only to receive worship but to participate in all my small deeds and cares.

It is not so difficult to maintain communication with one's Heavenly Friend if these relationships exist and we have made a covenant. But one must always remember that the enemy of the soul also desires to intrude into our relationship and destroy it by distracting my gaze, switching it to temporary, empty, worldly things.

I understand the following. To have God in mind, it is necessary on my part to apply effort and allocate time for this. God is easy to seek, God is easy to find. Understanding God's unconditional love helps me calmly enter into a relationship with Him and communicate without fear.

In the counsel to Laodicea, Jesus offers my mind to acquire God, to be diligent in this acquisition, to repent of a lukewarm state, and to open my heart to deeper and closer relationships with Him. If I do not accept this advice, no one will come knocking or calling. God respects my choice.

If I offer my beloved chosen one my hand and heart in exchange for her hand and heart, and she refuses me, I will not insist on changing the decision. It is her right. I respect her choice, although it could have been different.

The message to Laodicea invites me to receive God in my mind to learn and establish myself in love and withstand the coming trials that are approaching. What will I answer?
