The Message of Christ's Love

The Lord has prepared the most important and best for the very last moment. Knowing that difficult times await us, knowing what trials our faith will undergo, knowing that there is very little time, Jesus comes personally to give me what He did not dare to give earlier.

Jesus offers me His hand and heart, and with it all of Heaven, and even Heavenly authority.

The Lord has put His whole soul into the final message of invitation to a personal relationship. He loves His Church and doesn't hide it. This is His people, whom He led out of Babylonian slavery to be their God.

Leading all of us by His Holy Spirit, Christ affirms in faith every thirsty and seeking person and invites them to rise higher. The Lord's goal is to teach all His sons and daughters to grow in faith and help them know the One True God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. And for the sake of closer relationships, the Faithful Witness personally comes into my life and advises me to buy Himself in the form of valuable goods. All the gifts and talents of Heaven pale in comparison to what Jesus offers His Laodicea. Angels listen in amazement to this message of unconditional love, admiring such a unique offer for the Lord's beloved. The wedding is already planned, and it will take place, but the bride is still thinking and possibly doesn't understand what her Beloved is advising her. And the Beloved modestly offers to acquire what He wants to see in His bride. And He wants to see Himself.

Selling me the gold of love, the Lord refines it to such a stage, cleansing it from various impurities, until His reflection is clearly visible on its surface. No matter how much it hurts me, no matter how much I suffer, but the fiery furnace will not be canceled, and this world will definitely throw me into it, as it did with Daniel's friends.

Advising me to buy white clothes, the Lord gives me His garment of love in this merchandise, offering me to dress in Him. Righteousness and truth cover God's people with Christ's grace, but Jesus wants to personally wrap me in this garment so that through this I can differ from the world and from all those called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.

Advising to acquire eye salve, the Lord gives me His eyes of faith and love in this merchandise. He wants me to see this world as He sees it. His Heavenly wisdom dreams of becoming my eternal possession and teaching me to use all the talents of Heaven for God's glory, as well as to understand people's needs and the spirit with which I come into contact.

Jesus' heart is languishing with love, and the Lord, seeing my timid attempts to understand His offer, assures me of His attachment and fair attitude towards my lukewarm state. My conscience under the influence of the Holy Spirit punishes me, and I become very ashamed of the consequences of my miserable and unhappy state. After all, I thought I was rich and wealthy, and had need of nothing, and didn't even know how miserable and pitiful, and poor, and blind, and naked I was. If it weren't for Christ's advice, I would have remained languishing in my miserable world of unfulfilled fantasies.

Jesus came and offered me something that no heavenly inhabitant even dreamed of.

"The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold, there he stands behind our wall, gazing through the windows, looking through the lattice." Song of Solomon 2:8-9.

Seeing my timidity with which I make purchases, the Lord personally comes to me and knocks, looking into the windows of my soul. I hear His voice and understand that it's Him. And He doesn't hide it, and doesn't break into my house, but gently announces: "It's Me," and waits, observing what I will do next.

By buying heavenly goods, I have already gotten to know Christ better, but I didn't even dream of such close relationships as His personal visit. It's hard for me to believe that the King of the Universe Himself has come to me and modestly stands and waits to enter if I open.

I open the door and invite the King of kings into my house. How joyful! My table is set, and we eagerly begin the meal, communicating cheerfully. And this is not a simple dinner, but a deep knowledge of each other. I understand that the Lord Himself was sold to me in the Heavenly goods, and now He has personally come to assure me that this purchase was necessary. He not only wants to sell me something, but also plans to teach me how to use it. Endowing me with the Heavenly power of love and righteousness, filling me with wisdom from above, the Lord wants me to have an understanding of what I have acquired and how it works. Offering Himself, Jesus reveals Himself to me in personal communication.

He cannot reveal Himself to a crowd. We would continue to look at each other and not at Jesus, but this way I look at Him across my table and am transformed.

Christ's offer is so unique and amazing that at first I don't understand what He wants. And Jesus keeps coming and coming. And I involuntarily fall in love with Him and can no longer live and breathe without Him. All my thoughts are about Him, my best time is for Him. I give everything to acquire even more of what He offers. I am now drawn to Him not by His advice, but by my need and thirst. I dream of another meeting with Him, just to be near, to look into His eyes, to listen to His voice. I am ready to admire Him forever and know the depth of His love. Jesus is mine, and I know it. And I am His, and He tells me about it. I didn't even imagine how these purchases in Laodicea would end. And the Lord assures me that He will give me to sit with Him on His throne. I don't quite understand what this means for me, because it's a symbol of supreme power. But I'm very satisfied that I will always be near Him. And we will always be together, and death will no longer separate us.

And all this is hidden in a simple advice to Laodicea. Reflecting on such modesty, I come to the conclusion that love cannot force and demand. It would be strange to hear a love proposal with a threat of death in case of refusal or intimidation by pangs of conscience if I reject the offer. But this is how God's love acts, with respect for the freedom of my choice.

The more often I reread this message of love, the more I delve into the depth of what is offered. This message reveals to me God's plan for me in the last events of world history. And this plan has not changed over the years, but has come into action, approaching the end of time. The Lord offers Himself to each of His Son and daughter, wanting us to hear His voice and pay attention to this message. If I say "no" with my indifference or ignorance, it's also an answer.

Can I force a beloved girl to marry me if I'm not interesting to her, if she has no time for me, if she tells me "no"? I will not insist on my offer, even if I love her very much. I will have to leave her alone. And love doesn't pass. I see how she goes to another and suffers in this union, but I can no longer do anything for her. I have nothing more than myself. Only with this could I please her heart.

And now let's imagine, friends, what Jesus experiences, seeing our refusals, our ignorance and misunderstanding of what He offers us. I will not buy what I don't need. But what will happen to me if this "don't need" refers to Christ, to His advice and call? What else can God give me if I reject His offer? It's hard to imagine. And if I imagine, it becomes scary. But I need to answer something.
