The Word of God

When reading the message to Laodicea, it is always important to remember that this is not human wisdom, not fantasies on spiritual topics, but the word of God Himself. Jesus very clearly explained who He is in this message. He addresses me personally quite uncompromisingly. His rebuke sounds very clear and unambiguous. The words He pronounces are quite distinct and understandable to anyone who begins to read and listen to them. Whatever I might find to justify myself, the Word of God convicts me. Behind each word of this message lies a depth of revelation for those who decide to immerse themselves in this message and comprehend the meaning and spirit of what is written.

Whether I want it or not, God's Word will fulfill everything for which it was spoken. Accepting and obeying this Word will be the determining factor that will play a crucial role in my salvation at the very end of history.

Answering the disciples' question about the destruction of Jerusalem, His Coming, and the end of the age, Jesus combined these events in a short narrative, after which He told the parable of the ten virgins, making it clear that at the end of earth's history, it would be necessary to have oil in one's vessels. And it would be sold in a special place. Even then, Christ's followers wondered what this oil was and where that shop was located where it could be bought.

Time passed, and the apostle John received revelations on the island of Patmos, recording them for us. The Lord Himself personally spoke about what was soon to happen.

In the message to Laodicea, the world was presented with that very trading shop where one could acquire everything that would lead God's people out of their lukewarm state and make them victorious.

Many prophecies in this book have already been fulfilled, while others await their time to precisely accomplish what they were given for.

Very little time remains. God's Word accomplishes everything for which it was spoken.

It has always been important to understand and distinguish God's utterances from human speculations. And when it comes to the nuances of my salvation, it is necessary to consider all the details of God's Words, because in them lies a power that no one can resist and which will fulfill everything said precisely.

The Lord declared that He will give the overcomer a seat on His throne. This means that it will be so, and the key to this victory lies in the message to Laodicea itself. Follow all of God's counsels precisely, and you will receive everything to which they will lead you.

We know that a time of trouble awaits us, which is rapidly approaching. What will we enter this period with? The Lord counsels buying victory goods from Him. Interestingly, His Word assures me that by accepting this message and following what is said, I will receive a reward. Accordingly, if I do not understand God's message or neglect this counsel, it will be very difficult to count on randomly winning somehow, using other Biblical narratives.

Let's take the example of warfare. There was a time when cutting and piercing weapons were used for a very long time, constantly modified, and everything depended on the warrior's skill in using them. Then came a time when firearms appeared, and all swords and spears became history, although they did not cease to be weapons.

Now wars are of an entirely different type. Soldiers often do not see the enemy but service high-precision missile systems controlled via satellites and drones.

What weapon awaits us in the future? Whatever it may be, military strategists will always change their plans. And deploying an army armed to the teeth with swords and spears would be very foolish, although once it struck fear and terror into the enemy.

If the Lord Himself offers me His strategy for waging war and achieving final victory, it is worth considering whether to delve into this Laodicean Plan.

Yes, it will take time. It is necessary to examine God's message, decipher all symbols, understand the meaning of each word, accept God's counsel with all my heart, and do everything that the Lord will reveal, following the instructions given to me.

God's Word will precisely fulfill everything for which it was spoken. The enemy of the soul knows this and will not be able to resist it. All of Satan's host is powerless before God's Word and takes it into account. There are spiritual laws clearly outlined in the Bible that operate, fulfilling what is said and protecting the obedient. But God's plans include not only my protection from the enemy's arrows but also my complete victory over all the host of evil spirits in the heavenly places. And this is possible only for God's Word, which will be written in the victor's heart.

Revelation 3:18 is that very heart of the victor which the Lord desires to endow me and you with, friend. It is the heart of God Himself, which He seeks to sell me in exchange for my heart. What will I do with this Word? What interest will I show in His message?

Jesus assured us that not all virgins in Matthew 25:1-12 acted wisely. Somehow among them were those who paid no attention to God's counsel for preparing and filling their vessels. But at a time determined by God, the culmination of events arrived. The Word fulfilled everything for which it was sent, and all doors were shut.

It is terribly frightening to find oneself outside of salvation while being a believer. It is hard to imagine a worse scenario. God's Word will fulfill everything precisely, both in good purpose and in bad.

If I plan my own victory strategy without basing it on the Word of the Faithful Witness, I will likely resemble a naked warrior who went into battle against an enemy army with clenched fists and furrowed brows, hurling threats after flying airplanes.

If there were no word "overcomer" in the message to Laodicea, then the ignorant could have attributed it to those good counsels that would serve the benefit of spiritual development and gradual exit from the lukewarm state, which they are now doing. But considering that this is the last message for the last time, after which the final denouement comes, it deserves special attention to study every Word of God and ensure that I follow all proposed instructions precisely and respond to all knocks and the voice I hear.

Trusting God's Word, I have a decent arsenal of various Divine promises for successful warfare and victory. God has provided for all unforeseen situations in His Word that might arise during combat, and it is His Word that guarantees victory at any given moment of the battle.

No wise thoughts or sayings of human reason will give you success on the battlefield because for the enemy of the soul, these are not the weapons of a victor, and Satan desires to clothe us in nothing in order to then mock us and create an illusion of our resistance.

The enemy fears my awareness and reliance on God's Word more than anything. Here he will unquestionably lose, so his strategy consists of occupying my mind with anything except studying Scripture and examining God's promises for the last time. And the enemy succeeds in this.

Bloggers' opinions or thousands of likes will not help me stand in battle with the enemy. Only God's Word and faith in the fulfillment of what is written guarantee my victory in the final war.
